Workday is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to join their Global Professional Services organization. This role focuses on implementing Workday's cloud-based software specifically within the US Federal Government industry. The team is responsible for Data Conversion, Integration, and Reporting workstreams on implementation projects, providing leadership and technical expertise to guide customers through their deployments.

About the Role

The Principal Technical Consultant will work closely with client project teams to design, develop, and deploy customer integration solutions. They will also advise Workday Deployment Partners on Partner-led deployments. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of core design principles, common integration patterns, project implementation methodology, and a proven track record of successful delivery.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead and project manage integration workstream(s), ensuring timely delivery and driving results.
  • Become an expert on US Federal specific Workday functionality, configuration, and technology.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand and document customer integration needs.
  • Design and implement integrations to meet complex customer and vendor requirements.
  • Assist customers with integration testing and conduct knowledge transfer for post-production success.
  • Collaborate with other members of the US Federal consulting team and Workday Solutions Enablement to identify improvements and lead internal initiatives.
