Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, with one to three years of relevant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role requires the ability to travel up to 65% of the time.
The Commercial Technology Sales Specialist will be responsible for organic growth within the existing commercial technology customer base, traveling to assigned accounts to manage relationships, ensure technical needs are met, provide problem resolution, and identify expansion opportunities. They will establish and strengthen customer relationships, identify and pursue expansion of technology services, prepare and lead business reviews, collaborate with implementation teams, ensure contract compliance, and present new functionality to customers. The role also involves monitoring customer satisfaction, acting as a liaison between hospital departments and Owens & Minor, supporting savings targets, assisting with onsite training, participating in implementations, supporting billing and accounts receivable, generating leads for other offerings, and supporting sales demonstrations and proposals.
