Candidates should have 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B, and experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology. A proven record of success in an inside sales-based selling model, the ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment, and the ability to develop trusted relationships are required. Post-sale revenue expansion experience is preferred, along with proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools, and experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com. Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting is also necessary.
The Commercial Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for existing strategic mid-size accounts, leveraging product knowledge to maximize renewals and expansion. They will collaborate with Customer Success, other Sales members, and Product Solution Specialists to maintain and expand the customer revenue base. Key duties include preserving and developing customer relationships, highlighting Procore's value, deepening customer attachment, driving product adoption, ensuring customer retention, increasing spend on existing products, and leading attachment to new products. The role also involves researching accounts, identifying key champions, generating interest, obtaining business requirements, maintaining accurate forecasts and sales reports, pursuing competitor knowledge, managing leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com, achieving targets, coordinating internal resources to solve client issues, executing service agreements, and performing periodic travel for client visits.
