Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years of outside sales experience. Experience negotiating with and selling to enterprise IT buyers in a quota-carrying sales role is essential. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and other CRM tools is required, as is familiarity with enterprise procurement processes for IT spending. A proven track record of personal development and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are also necessary.
The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction and ensuring the accuracy of sales projections. Key duties include collaborating with channel partners to generate revenue and promote solutions, developing and leading a sales pipeline to close strategic transactions, and prospecting to penetrate accounts and reach decision-makers. The role also involves defining and executing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet or exceed quota, building value through proposals, and driving account strategies by coordinating team selling efforts with partners.
