Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field, such as Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline, and demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in clinical sales, preferably within the medical device industry. Strong knowledge of TAVI procedures, cardiac anatomy, and hemodynamic principles is required, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Sales Specialist will provide TAVI clinical trial and commercial case support, participate in trial enrollment and education initiatives, and collaborate with the Territory Manager to educate interventional cardiologists and other relevant personnel on Abbott TAVI products. The role involves providing technical and clinical expertise, conducting customer didactic education sessions, assisting with CT valve sizing analysis, and supporting heart team planning and debriefing. Additionally, the CSS will actively engage with trial sites, participate in subject selection committee calls, and contribute to achieving best-in-class patient outcomes and advancing clinical evidence and commercial market share.
