Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, along with an active and unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state. A minimum of one year of experience is required.
The Clinical Consultant will serve as a clinical subject matter expert for assigned clients, offering guidance on pharmacy benefit design, formulary strategy, and utilization management protocols, collaborating with account management and benefits teams to implement and maintain client-specific formularies and UM programs, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently, delivering data-driven recommendations, providing training and education to clients, supporting the modeling and development of custom client formularies, monitoring and assessing new drug approvals, participating in internal committees, executing formulary and utilization management changes, and working closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
