Responsibilities

The BHI Support Specialist will assist the ancillary program manager with Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) tasks, including gathering medical information for patients using various electronic health record systems. This role involves reporting monthly on patient medical concerns such as falls, medication issues, behavioral concerns, and hospitalizations. The specialist will complete assigned BHI interventions for approximately 20 patients daily and report any issues to the ancillary program manager or Chief Informatics/Compliance Officer. Additionally, they will aid with employee training and provide support to newer employees through shadowing.
