Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, neuroscience, biology, or a related discipline, along with additional training and certification in radiology, neuro-interventional technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting or a medical device company is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A sales or marketing background is desired. Strong clinical, technical, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to function in a busy, demanding, and competitive environment. Excellent oral, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are also necessary.
The Clinical Specialist will provide support to sales teams in market development, procedural coverage, troubleshooting, education, training, customer service, and follow-up. Responsibilities include developing and implementing regional plans to increase market share, establishing communication systems with sales management, and building relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision-makers. The role involves educating customers on product merits and proper clinical use through presentations and demonstrations, keeping them informed of industry developments, and assisting in professional education activities and training new employees. The specialist will serve as a primary resource for clinical support, reporting and tracking product incidents, responding to customer needs with creative solutions, and prospecting for new customers. Additional duties include securing and renewing orders, maintaining communication on programs and pricing, developing relationships with healthcare professionals, and adhering to the Company’s Quality Management System and relevant regulations.
