A minimum of 3 years of experience in molecular diagnostics sales or a related field is required. Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential. A strong understanding of the healthcare sector, trends, and opportunities is necessary, as is a proven ability to develop and expand key accounts. Preferred qualifications include a technical background in molecular biology or genomics, excellent listening, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills, and a collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented professional attitude.
The Clinical Sales Specialist will support Illumina’s business growth and strengthen partnerships with clinical customers throughout São Paulo, Brazil. They will collaborate with Territory Account Managers (TAMs) to develop customer accounts, create territory plans, and understand clinical and economic trends. Responsibilities include analyzing the competitive landscape, sharing technical and product knowledge, and planning sales activities. The specialist will prepare and deliver sales presentations in Portuguese and English, support new technology introductions, and provide feedback to management. They will maintain customer information in the CRM, identify growth opportunities, and provide sales forecasts. Additionally, they will interpret scientific publications, represent Illumina at events, and serve as a communication point between the company and its customers.
