Position Overview

The Client Manager at NIQ is an experienced Industry Insights expert whose main goal is to delight clients by supporting their informed business decisions. This role involves delivering analysis and insights on industries, markets, and consumers using NIQ data and tools, adhering to NIQ standards. The Client Manager is also responsible for strong execution of the Service Model and for guiding and coaching more junior team members.


Responsibilities

  • Act as a master of proprietary NIQ tools and metrics to help solve clients' business questions.
  • Collaborate closely with CS Consultants to transform the customer experience.
  • Independently respond to business questions during briefing sessions and develop analytical outlines that leverage multiple NIQ solutions into a cohesive story.
  • Simplify and visualize data, translating numbers into compelling stories for clients with insightful callouts and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present insights/recommendations using the SCQA and AP frameworks efficiently, meeting Academy Silver graduate level standards.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through the analysis and delivery of relevant and impactful insights.
  • Identify revenue leads independently and partner with AD to convert these into revenue opportunities.
  • Execute strongly based on the service model.
  • Take initiative to remove roadblocks as they arise.
  • Lead by example, guide, and coach junior team members.
  • Champion initiatives within the business unit and provide guidance to peers in specific areas, being accountable for delivering against KPIs for these initiatives.
  • Lead Thought Leadership Projects.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, or market research.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or similar) solutions in the analytics space, including POS/Panel data, is preferred.
  • Must be a curious individual who enjoys building stories based on data to answer business questions.
  • Possess a strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Digital savvy and a fast learner of concepts, tools, and analyses.
  • Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all relevant NIQ data sources (e.g., RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra).
  • Proficiency in utilizing Discover and helping to diminish/eliminate client concerns and roadblocks to drive usage.
  • Ability to coach others in data analysis and working with NIQ tools.
