Requirements

  • Proven experience scaling technology at a global company in a senior leadership role (CTO, CIO, VP or Head of Technology). Direct to consumer or retail experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, set strategic direction, and build high-performing multidisciplinary teams (engineering, product, design, data)
  • Deep experience with modern ecommerce platforms (such as Shopify) and enterprise resource planning systems (such as SAP), including the integration of ERP, retail, and digital commerce technologies into a cohesive ecosystem
  • Experience supporting 3PLs, retail store systems, and wholesale business models
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills—able to translate tech into business value with a collaborative, partnership driven approach to working with cross functional teams
  • A builder's mindset: agile, curious, and comfortable in ambiguity
  • Humility and a leadership style that inspires trust and collaboration across a diverse population

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the executive team, aligning technology initiatives with business goals across planning, manufacturing, ecommerce, retail, wholesale, and logistics
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across engineering, product management, UX, and data, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivering results
  • Own the technology roadmap and architectural vision, ensuring a modern, integrated stack built on Shopify and SAP
  • Ensure our technology foundation is secure, scalable, and future-ready, including systems architecture, infrastructure, and tools
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, balancing near-term execution with long-term thinking
  • Maintain data infrastructure and flows that allow for real time decision making
  • Collaborate closely with channel leads, operations, marketing and merchandising to enable data-driven decision-making, personalization, and seamless customer experiences
  • Manage engineering and IT projects, KPIs, budgets, and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical and financial performance
  • Oversee data security and liaise with the audit committee on related topics
  • Ensure sound vendor selection, contract negotiation, and oversight of third-party technology partners
  • Roll up your sleeves when needed, diving into details without losing the strategic thread
