Candidates should possess 15+ years of experience in a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience in agile and scrum methodologies. They must have expert-level experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design, as well as expertise in applying software design, design patterns, architecture patterns, and quality attributes. Furthermore, they should have expert-level knowledge and application of modern software development lifecycle processes, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration skills. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required.
The Chief Architect will provide technical leadership in the development and deployment of architecture vision and strategies across the company's entire portfolio, lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide enterprise architecture decision making, develop architecture strategies to maintain consistency, integrity, and maintainability across the product suite, review and approve product architectures for new systems and integrations, lead the development and execution of a communication and education plan for the organizations architects, lead business-wide technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise design platform direction, lead teams of other business, technical, and enterprise architects in designing and developing new solutions, define principles that guide technology decisions and the relationships between enterprise business context and specified technology, create strategic vision and collaborate with executive management to define and ensure success of strategy in alignment with organizational objectives, oversee the development of future leaders and assist in identifying leadership potential within the team, act as a strategic influencer to internal and external peers, industry groups, and/or customers, serve as the final escalation point for highest priority issues; provide direction and guidance to assist with resolution of issues, work closely with appropriate stakeholders and business leaders to ensure success to drive collaborative work across departments.
