Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles within SaaS or HR-tech, along with 2+ years of leadership in large Enterprise software deployments. They require strong experience with API-based integrations, data mapping, and middleware solutions, including REST APIs, event buses (Kafka/SNS/SQS), OAuth 2.0/OIDC/SAML, webhooks, and bulk or streaming ETL tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic, Azure Data Factory) and integrations with data warehouses or BI tools. Proficiency in building automation and middleware solutions, with a strong plus for languages like JavaScript or Python, and expertise in security architecture covering encryption, IAM, SSO, RBAC, data-privacy, and auditing. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is also required, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architect (NAMER) will define and evolve the reference architecture, integration patterns, and canonical data models spanning learning records, skill graphs, career frameworks, performance and succession data. They will maintain architectu```.jsonhthe architecture and ensure alignment with Degreed's platform, working closely with customers to understand their tech ecosystems and define end-to-end solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and scope technical engagements, ensure delivery quality, and leverage Degreed technology to implement novel solutions. Additionally, the Enterprise Architect will bring deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to solve complex challenges, present to stakeholders, and manage third-party vendors and cross-functional teams in complex technical initiatives, while also contributing to embedding generative AI/LLM services in regulated HR environments.
