Requirements

Candidates should possess 12+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud platform engineering, or related technical leadership roles, demonstrating expert-level knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, particularly serverless, data lakes, and distributed systems. Proven experience in architecting enterprise-grade data platforms utilizing Snowflake, Dremio, or similar technologies is required, along with a demonstrated success in applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework, especially in analytics-heavy domains. Mastery of infrastructure-as-code principles, such as AWS CloudFormation or CDK, is also essential.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Data Architect, the role involves defining and leading the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with company strategy, championing cloud-native architectures, owning the reference architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms using AWS and Snowflake, establishing enterprise standards for data modeling and governance, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure data platforms support analytics and regulatory needs, mentoring senior architects, leading the evaluation of emerging technologies, and publishing internal architecture papers to contribute to the broader architecture community.
