District Sales Manager - Chevrolet (Baton Rouge, LA)

Employment Type: Full-time Remote: This position allows for permanent remote work, but requires regular territory visits to dealerships. Position Overview

Are you looking for a dynamic role where you connect with people and represent a leading automotive company? As a Chevrolet District Sales Manager, you will manage and engage Chevrolet dealerships within your territory. This involves regular on-site visits to build relationships, understand products and services, and drive sales success. You will be involved in various initiatives to ensure dealers thrive in selling our products to the end customer.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM Partners.
  • Grow and foster partnerships with dealerships.
  • Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly/yearly sales objectives are met.
  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies or opportunities.
  • Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, independent aftermarket (IAM), and GM.
  • Monitor Dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives.
  • Assist with Dealership inventory management, including vehicle and/or parts ordering and inventory stabilizing.
  • Analyze Dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Increase sales of GM vehicles and Accessory parts to customers.
  • Assist in customer problem resolution.
  • Travel to dealerships within your designated region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years in sales and customer service within the automotive industry, OEM experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 100% and be mobile now and in the future.
  • Willingness to relocate anywhere within the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company vehicle will be provided for this role.
