Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven channel management experience with a strong achievement against quota is essential, along with extensive experience in growing top Distribution Managed Partners through Distributors. Experience collaborating with diverse teams on marketing activities and optimizing partner investment returns is required, as is the ability to design effective partner engagement strategies. Familiarity with customers and technology partners, excellent presentation skills for various group sizes, and the ability to work independently and remotely with a strong work ethic are necessary. This position also requires a willingness to travel exceeding 50%.

Responsibilities

The Channel Development Manager will manage and enable Channel Partners within the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem, focusing on building and managing account and partner plans, growing pipeline, and managing the conversion process. Responsibilities include collaborating with partners to drive bookings and ensure excellent customer experiences, identifying, recruiting, and developing new partners, and forecasting partner pipeline conversion with sales teams. The role involves developing and leading sales strategies and business plans for assigned partners, enabling partner sales and technical teams, and tracking partner performance against plans with action plans for improvement. Additionally, the manager will develop selling and services opportunities within partner organizations, coordinate marketing activities, and leverage marketing resources for prioritization, execution, and ROI.
