As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Jasper, you will be instrumental in generating high-quality sales pipeline. This role involves engaging with inbound leads and executing targeted outbound strategies to connect with key decision-makers in enterprise accounts. You will leverage AI tools and buyer intent signals to drive smarter conversations and act as a strategic partner to our Account Executives, generating qualified opportunities. This position requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams to contribute directly to Jasper's ambitious growth objectives.

This fully remote role reports to the Director of Business Development and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and qualify enterprise prospects through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and intent signal monitoring.
  • Utilize AI tools, market intelligence, and buyer intent data to personalize outreach and enhance conversion rates.
  • Manage a full-funnel approach to prospecting, from initial outreach through qualification and handoff to Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with your manager and team to test and iterate on new messaging, prospecting strategies, and campaign ideas.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to ensure a seamless buyer experience.
  • Track activity, analyze results, and optimize prospecting efforts using CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Champion Jasper's mission and values in all prospect interactions, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in a high-growth environment, with a focus on enterprise organizations.
  • Proven experience connecting with prospects across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, phone).
  • Demonstrated curiosity, grit, and a data-driven mindset, with a proactive approach to improvement.
  • Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for helping customers solve complex problems and leverage AI for new opportunities.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and enthusiasm for the pace and scope of a startup environment.
  • Nice to have: Experience with intent-based tools, AI technologies, and CRM systems for pipeline generation.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range:

  • The On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $85,000.
  • Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
