Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales experience in the new build housing industry, with a demonstrated ability to sell to large organizations like house builders, councils, and housing associations. Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will drive the adoption of Octopus Zero Bills and renewable energy solutions within the new home building sector by identifying and onboarding house builders and supply chain partners. Responsibilities include guiding house builders through the accreditation and onboarding process, developing and delivering sales training to installer sales teams, and engaging with end clients such as build-to-rent funds, councils, and housing associations to sell Zero Bills Homes and Tenant Power. The role also involves becoming an expert on the Zero Bills Proposition and related technologies, highlighting commercial benefits, setting out Octopus's broader offerings, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall Zero Bills and Tenant Power plan.
