Position Overview

  • Salary: $195,500 - $366,850 per year (Base salary range for new hires: $230,000 for Level 4 and $319,000 for Level 5)

This is a senior engineering role with a heavy product focus.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience with front-end web development in TypeScript
  • Experience with back-end development in Go
  • Strong interest and aptitude for product thinking
  • Ability to own outcomes rather than tasks
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work in the US or Canada without a visa

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering on the direction, user experience, and revenue of Teleport Zero Trust Access.
  • Report directly to the CTO and join the R&D leadership team.
  • Interview customers and prospects to gather data and user stories for roadmap development.
  • Hack on the product alongside the engineering team during hackathons.
  • Work with product marketing on adoption and revenue of the Zero Trust Access offering.
  • Analyze Teleport Zero Trust product usage data and formulate experiments to improve conversion rates.
  • Implement experiments and analyze results to determine whether to keep changes.
  • Work directly with the Engineering team to implement larger code changes based on experiment results.
  • Periodically demo the product to customers and prospects to refine product messaging.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches, updates, and messaging.
