Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business or a healthcare-related field and have a minimum of five years of successful experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical diagnostic sales and/or sales management. A detailed understanding of healthcare delivery systems, healthcare finance, and provider/payer economics is essential, along with outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. Strategic selling, complex selling skills, significant drive for results, and the ability to lead without authority are also required, along with strong project management skills and outstanding listening skills.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue recognition by moving health system customers from the implementation phase of diagnostic testing to full revenue. They will support growth in health system accounts with IDD instruments, focusing on allergy and autoimmune business, and orchestrate resource utilization to complete growth opportunities. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and IDD Commercial personnel, developing tactical plans to increase utilization and collaborating with various teams to identify and implement new growth opportunities. The executive will also mobilize clinical sales specialists for growth initiatives, provide business insights to retain customers, articulate the clinical and economic case for expanded testing to executive levels, and understand healthcare delivery dynamics related to reimbursement access. They will collaborate on sales and marketing efforts, participate in training and product information meetings, and share field intelligence.
