Position Overview
Dane Street, a leading Independent Review Organization and national provider of Group Health Review services, is expanding its physician panel. This presents an opportunity for physicians seeking non-traditional work and supplemental income. This is a telework opportunity where physicians will provide reviews based on a customized caseload tailored to their schedule. Physician reviewers are independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License
- Active Practice
- Board Certified
Responsibilities
- Review medical necessity of treatment requests.
- Review medical necessity of previously denied services in appeals.
- Provide advisory-only opinions.
