Job Description: Business Operations Analyst

Position Overview

SailPoint is seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen sense of responsibility, a positive attitude, high energy, and strong attention to detail to join the Success Acceleration Services (SASP) team. This role will provide day-to-day insights and support for our Services and delivery operations. You will work with CRM and PSA tools to maintain records, forecast accurately, and ensure smooth operations through Services delivery governance.

Roadmap for Success

  • 30 Days:
    • Understand SailPoint's offerings, organizational structure, and team dynamics.
    • Regular check-ins with a mentor to navigate tools, processes, and active projects.
    • Familiarize yourself with project management and CRM-type tools and best practices.
    • Shadow ongoing Business Analyst activities.
  • 90 Days:
    • Take full ownership of administrative tasks and perform them independently.
  • 6 Months:
    • Develop a keen sense of current administrative tasks, differentiating between must-haves and nice-to-haves.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships within and outside the SAS Team.
    • Identify areas for process improvement, propose ideas, and collaborate on initiatives.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative requests.
  • 1 Year:
    • Mentor new resources and grow team capability while managing your own tasks.
    • Create and maintain knowledge bases to support Program development.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in an administrative position demonstrating high productivity and effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders, including communication via email or CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve scheduling conflicts to meet deadlines.
  • Highly self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse teams, with an awareness of cultural nuances and communication styles.
  • Ability to understand client needs, manage expectations, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategic issues and solutions clearly.
  • Experience with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Proven skills in cultivating strong working relationships and collaborating within a team to learn and share knowledge.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
