Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
  • At least 2 years of experience in analysis
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in analysis
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in financial services
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in consulting
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Strategic & analytic orientation with a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics, complemented by strong quantitative orientation
  • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity as a tenacious decision maker
  • Solid people leadership experience to build and leverage high-performing teams and business partners
  • Strong executive communication skills, including written, oral, strategic influencing, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership by developing business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success amid shifting consumer and regulatory demands
  • Lead and develop 1-2 analysts through coaching and mentoring to develop and retain talent
  • Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product-level modeling and analytics
  • Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products and strategic intent for products distributed through retail channels; build targeted insights for new customer experiences, technology, and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses through rigorous monitoring and analysis
  • Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against product strategy; oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
  • Partner closely with colleagues across IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others to drive improvements in quality, volume, service, and profitability
