Requirements

Candidates should have experience managing benefits operations and administration for self-insured health plans, 401(k) plans, and leave of absence programs. A strong understanding of benefits trends, compliance regulations (including FMLA, ADA, CMS reporting, ACA reporting, and Non-Discrimination Testing), and vendor management is essential. Experience with benefits surveys, employee communications, and internal process documentation is also required.

Responsibilities

The Benefits Manager will oversee the entire benefits function, including evaluating and recommending enhancements to benefit offerings, administering various plans (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.), and managing the annual open enrollment process. This role involves partnering with brokers and vendors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, creating employee-facing communications, conducting benefits surveys, and developing internal processes for consistent benefits operations.
