Business Development Representative Manager

Position Overview

Workvivo is seeking a self-driven Business Development Representative Manager to be based in Boston and lead our growing Boston team. You will build, hire, and manage a team of seven BDRs/SDRs. Your team will be the first point of contact for prospective customers in our Enterprise and Major Accounts segments, focusing on qualifying inbound leads and sourcing outbound opportunities. Reporting to the Workvivo Global SDR Manager, this role offers a great opportunity to build both management and sales skills. You’ll work closely with our sales, marketing, and leadership teams to help shape our sales process and team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Building, hiring, and managing a team of BDRs (outbound) and SDRs (inbound).
  • Nurturing, developing, and coaching your team to ensure they hit KPIs.
  • Executing personalized and scalable outbound sales campaign strategies.
  • Working closely with Marketing on defining campaign follow-up and reporting.
  • Managing and optimizing inbound conversion rates from qualified lead to opportunity.
  • Working closely with Sales Managers and Reps to ensure lead quality/quantity and accurate follow-up.
  • Tracking and reporting on team and individual results and KPIs, constantly driving performance and process improvement.
  • Working with Sales and Sales Enablement in developing each team member's sales, product, process, and industry skills.
  • Collaborating and aligning value messaging with Marketing and Product.
  • Highlighting trends and engagement insights to the wider Sales, Solutions, and Marketing team.
  • Nurturing and managing cross-functional relationships with Sales Managers, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Marketing.
  • Overseeing usage of team systems, including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomIQ, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Cognism, etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Sales Development or quota-carrying experience in a Technology company.
  • Direct SaaS/Cloud selling leadership experience.
  • Experience improving Sales Development critical metrics.
  • Experience running successful weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Experience with Sales Tech Stack (Outreach, Hubspot, LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Cognism, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen.
  • Business forecasting, lead/pipeline development, and management skills.

Location & Employment

  • Location Type: Boston
  • Required On-site: At least 3 days per week at the Boston location.
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation

  • Salary Range / On-Target Earnings (OTE):
    • Minimum: $92,800.00
    • Maximum: $185,600.00
  • Note: Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. There may be a different location-based compensation structure for this and other locations.
