Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Previous Workday experience is strongly preferred, though not mandatory. A solid understanding of Internet technology and Enterprise Resource Planning is required, along with a practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll. A PMP certification is highly desired.

Responsibilities

The Associate Engagement Manager will act as a project manager, supporting client, company, and team success by managing key project deliverables such as charters, project/staffing plans, and issue logs. This role involves driving client engagement, communicating and addressing budget or resourcing constraints, and ensuring project profitability. Responsibilities include becoming an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology, demonstrating product suite knowledge (HCM, Payroll, Financials), ensuring proper project planning and staffing, and supporting senior managers on larger projects. The manager will collaborate with client project managers to resolve issues impacting scope or timelines, ensure delivery within budget, and work with Delivery Assurance for checkpoint compliance. They will also assist in transitioning clients to product support, ensure clients can serve as references, track and communicate project status, escalate concerns, and present at Executive Steering Committee meetings. Additionally, the role involves identifying and escalating change orders, and participating in the sales cycle to gather requirements, formulate delivery approaches, and develop proposals.
