Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
May require yearly certification for a forklift license
In Florida, must obtain qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight (BJ’s covers cost and training)

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance, particularly for directly managed departments (prepares for Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience tracks)
Ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures
Maintain a positive member service experience
Uphold Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standard club conditions
Lead audit compliance efforts
Drive collaboration with Business Partners (BPs)
Oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement during assigned shifts
Foster a culture of growth by actively developing team members through collaboration, coaching, and empowerment
Teach, coach, and lead team members through training, feedback, and on-the-job coaching
Drive a values-based culture promoting strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and inclusion
