Requirements

Candidates should possess an MBA with a focus in analytics, strategy, or a related quantitative field and have over 7 years of experience in data analytics with a strong track record of business impact. Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++ are required, along with experience with large-scale data tools like Hive or Spark, and hands-on experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses. A strong foundation in statistics and multivariate regression, as well as expertise in data visualization and BI tools like Domo or Tableau, are also necessary qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will lead high-impact analytics projects to inform business and product strategies, partnering cross-functionally to translate questions into analytical frameworks and deliver data-driven insights. They will design and maintain dashboards, models, and datasets for self-service, identify and resolve data quality issues, and leverage data to uncover category and pricing opportunities. Responsibilities also include supporting lifecycle and engagement analytics, collaborating with Finance on financial impact forecasting, responding to ad hoc analytical requests, and bringing thought leadership to data practices. Specifically for the Merchandising team, they will hypothesize, develop, and deliver insights into product performance, assortment effectiveness, and pricing/promotional impact, build and maintain reporting frameworks for category-level KPIs, design dashboards for self-service tracking, execute deep-dive analyses for competitive and profitable strategies, and identify data gap opportunities.
