Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree (BS/BA) and a minimum of 3 years of people leader/management experience for external talent, along with strong communication, interpersonal, business management, and computer skills. They should also demonstrate success in previous roles including people leadership and creatively finding opportunities or solving problems to drive sales performance, and exhibit a customer focused professional demeanor and presentation style.
The Area Business Manager will lead and develop all colleagues in Area accordingly, utilizing solution coaching and business planning capabilities to execute overall strategies to maximize sales performance within the assigned geography. They will lead and model Zoetis Core Beliefs within the team and company, manage annual strategic business plans, coordinate and resource allocation of marketing efforts, handle administrative and reporting duties, attend sales meetings, engage in special projects, and travel extensively to manage area personnel and business needs. Additionally, they will meet or exceed sales objectives, successfully lead new product launches, and improve the health of their area business by leveraging analytics and insights.
