Requirements

Candidates should have 4-6 years of related industry experience, with a proven track record in client account relationship management and revenue generation. A BA/BS degree or international equivalent is preferred. Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with exceptional time management and attention to detail. Experience in managing all stages of the sales cycle, including needs analysis, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing, is required. Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, Front, Seismic, and Tableau is a plus. Strong social media utilization for client connection is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Agency Account Manager will nurture existing and foster new relationships with public and investor relations firms to maintain and grow revenue. This role involves acting as a consultative partner to understand client needs, advising on communication plans, and effectively communicating Business Wire's value proposition. Responsibilities include developing a thorough knowledge of the agency landscape, public/investor relations industry, and competitor products/services. The position requires executing client contracts, collaborating with internal teams, increasing social media visibility by sharing thought leadership and case studies, and building relationships via social networking platforms. Maintaining accurate client records in Salesforce and meeting or exceeding revenue goals and performance objectives are key duties.
