Candidates must possess active Health & Life Insurance licenses or be willing to obtain them within 90 days of hire. The applicant must reside in the specified region (GA, AL, LA, MS, TN, or FL Panhandle) and have at least 12 months of sales experience in the Healthcare Industry. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to lead and train sales associates, utilize technology, and build partner relationships. A high level of self-motivation and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at an intermediate or better level is necessary. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in the Medicare industry, particularly in management or leadership roles, along with experience working with Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs), Medicare Products, brokers, and agency recruitment. A current Life and Health insurance license is also preferred. The role requires 50% travel, including some overnight stays.
The Agency Broker Relationship Manager will develop and maintain relationships with small to large accounts, focusing on personal sales targets and troubleshooting customer problems. This involves cultivating new client relationships and developing productive relationships with existing clients to meet targets. Responsibilities include preparing sales presentations, contracts, and proposals, and potentially participating in special projects like training or communication sessions. The role aims to maximize revenues by selling the organization's products and services through reseller partners in assigned channels and markets. This includes locating, evaluating, and recruiting potential channel partners, and supporting them throughout the sales process with marketing, advertising, compliance, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue goals. Key duties involve collaborating with internal sales and operations teams to support agency partners, training on industry fundamentals and company resources, conducting inbound and outbound calls to agents/agencies, and performing in-person consulting when applicable. The manager is responsible for increasing distribution through effective agency recruitment and onboarding, supporting agency growth through strategic and measurable development tactics, and achieving new sales and/or renewal goals for a defined territory. They will also organize and manage day-to-day selling and account management activities, including agency recruitment and onboarding.
