Requirements

The candidate must have 8+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company, with a working knowledge of technical infrastructure including web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories. Familiarity with modern SaaS architecture, Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, Azure/AWS/GCP is desirable, and 3+ years working with Identity, Governance, and Access Management solutions is preferred. Exceptional communication skills, high emotional intelligence, expertise in discovering customer requirements, and the ability to articulate and demonstrate enterprise solutions aligned to business outcomes are essential. Residence in the Washington D.C. states is required, and flexibility to travel within the US is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Advisory Solutions Consultant will actively participate in the sales process, partnering with sales teams to discover and understand customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions. Responsibilities include presenting SailPoint business functions, value, and competitive differences, providing product demonstrations, assisting in developing RFP responses, and participating in onsite and remote Proof of Value evaluations. The role also involves providing feedback to Product Management on product enhancements and contributing to building new technical collateral. Over time, the consultant will grow familiarity with IT audit functions and regulatory frameworks, speak at conferences, and articulate the business value of SailPoint to clients outside of IT.
