Requirements

Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering financial targets, with at least 3-5 years of experience selling life science reagents and solutions, preferably in synthetic biology. Knowledge of synthetic biology applications and workflows, experience with custom or made-to-order businesses, and business-to-business sales experience, particularly with pharma, chemical, or Agbio organizations, are preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce.com is a prerequisite. A Bachelor's degree in Biology or a similar field is preferred. Key attributes include strong drive, self-motivation, scientific problem-solving skills, excellent relationship management, communication, presentation, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities, along with the ability to thrive in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager will attain quarterly and annual revenue targets, deliver accurate territory forecasts, and develop key customer relationships. Responsibilities include developing contingency plans, executing supply agreements, collaborating with operations to minimize time to revenue, and maintaining CRM data. The role involves representing the company at trade shows, monitoring the competitive landscape, providing customer feedback, introducing new product ideas, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements. Additional duties as assigned are also part of the role.
