Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in an Account Management role, preferably in a high-growth or fast-paced environment. Proven success managing a large book of business (1,000+ accounts) across self-serve and sales-assisted buying flows is required. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Account Executives and Implementation teams, along with a track record of driving revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and customer retention strategies, is necessary. A strong understanding of key metrics such as MRR, churn, retention, and NPS, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset, are essential.
The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of over 1,000 customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact to identify pain points and position Roofr's solutions. They will develop and execute proactive strategies to maximize customer value, identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand MRR, and proactively address churn risks to ensure high retention and customer satisfaction. This role involves collaborating with Account Executives, Implementation, Revenue Operations, and Customer Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and smooth account set-up. The Account Manager will also monitor and improve key performance metrics including Expansion MRR, Contraction MRR, Net MRR, Retention Rate, Churn Rate, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
