Candidates should have proven success in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions, demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions, and a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office, and other CRM tools is expected, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to travel as needed. Experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients is also required.
The Account Executive will develop and manage a sales pipeline to move strategic transactions through the sales process, generating revenue by selling Cohesity solutions and working with channel partners. Responsibilities include penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, closing business, defining and implementing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota, and developing and presenting proposals to customers. The role also involves driving account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners.
