Who You Are

Zūm is seeking a qualified Account Executive with B2B field sales and direct territory management experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of originating, selling, and managing accounts from SMB to Enterprise. You are solution-oriented, possess personal drive and enthusiasm, integrity, and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to build strong relationships quickly. You are a natural pace-setter, demonstrating agility, intelligence, resourcefulness, and a focus on results.

Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Zūm solutions to schools and districts.
  • Actively manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting and qualifying.
  • Develop new relationships with business/C-level decision makers.
  • Deliver in-person presentations and negotiate contracts.
  • Close business and drive market share.
  • Achieve assigned quarterly and annual quota targets and goals.
  • Prospect, uncover, qualify, develop, manage, and grow assigned territory to identify, cultivate, and close net new customers.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell services to existing Zūm customers.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to deliver maximum revenue potential.
  • Manage all sales activities, opportunity pipeline updates, and deliver weekly forecasts.
  • Conduct discovery and face-to-face meetings/presentations with prospects/customers.
  • Manage prospect/customer evaluations, pilots, proof of concepts, and any RFP/BIDs/RFIs.
  • Attend regional trade shows and key territory events.
  • Regularly canvas territory with in-person drop-ins to create Zūm presence and awareness.
  • Deliver and manage key correspondence, feedback, communication, and market/customer learning to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and work cross-functionally with respective Ops team and extended team members to manage daily activity and detail for quotes, proposals, and business continuity.
  • Ensure an outstanding positive prospect/customer experience and customer success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of successful, direct quota-bearing sales experience selling B2B applications/solutions.
  • Experience selling within the mobility/transportation/logistics industry.
  • Proven "hunting" skills with responsibility for developing and closing net new business.
  • Ability to expand business in existing Zūm accounts.
  • Meet assigned quotas and goals.
  • Manage accounts and growth in respective territories.
  • Must be located in the Central Timezone. Relocation for this role is not provided.
