Candidates should have at least 2 years of demonstrated success in a strategy sales position and 2 years of full-cycle sales experience at a software or technology company. A strong track record of driving revenue, creating new business, and delivering a customer-centered experience is essential. Comfort with CRM systems for record-keeping and forecasting, strong presentation and active listening skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle changing priorities are also required. The ideal candidate possesses critical thinking abilities, drive, initiative, energy, a sense of urgency, and a growth mindset.
The Account Executive will meet or exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets by qualifying and closing net-new opportunities at mid-sized companies, acting as a collaborative team member. Responsibilities include creatively sourcing new prospects, positioning Huntress offerings, acting as a trusted advisor, staying current on competitor offerings, and turning client feedback into actionable strategies. The role involves influencing client decisions, advocating for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions, and working closely with internal teams such as Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Account Management. Maintaining accurate records, including daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in the CRM, is also a key responsibility.
