Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in a sales closing role, with a background in technology or SaaS is preferred. Strong customer-facing and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to explain complex matters in simpler terms and a comfort level with a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with a full sales cycle, including identifying expansion opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and negotiating contracts, is also necessary.
The Account Executive, Expansion (SMB) will identify and generate revenue through upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, proactively manage a book of accounts, lead business reviews, execute on plans to deliver maximum revenue potential, increase renewal rates, and develop and manage a sales pipeline through regular engagement and outreach. They will also consult existing clients on their internal processes to drive change and expand the use of Deel’s product offerings, meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue quota, and provide a world-class service.
