Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B SaaS company, with a proven success managing a team quota of $2M+ and a consistent track record of exceeding assigned team revenue objectives. A proven track record and strategy of scaling outbound sourced ARR, along with experience in coaching and developing team members, is required. Intermediate business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of forecasting and budget management, data-driven decision-making skills, in-depth sales process expertise and product knowledge, and the ability to identify and attract top talent are also necessary. Experience in transparent performance management, negotiation skills, inspirational communication skills, and being a driven front-line manager with the ability to connect with direct reports and inspire performance are essential. The candidate must be trusted by the team, cross-functionally, peer leaders, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager, SMB will be responsible for scaling sales results in a large market by leading an SMB Sales Team to capture a total addressable market of tens of thousands of businesses. They will provide continuous mentorship for SMB Account Executives, deliver stellar results backed by accurate forecasting, define and track KPIs, and spearhead a coaching culture for continuous improvement. This role involves managing and owning the day-to-day comprehensive activity and output of the team, including prospecting, funnel management, forecasting, and negotiating. They will lead a team of individual contributors to accelerate performance by driving key activities weekly, align sub-department execution with division-wide goals, and continually review and recommend changes to process or strategy to positively impact sub-department performance. The manager will motivate and empower the team to take ownership of their territory and exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship, lead sub-department meetings, and actively participate in divisional meetings and Sales Kick-offs. Collaboration with divisional peers to achieve top objectives, lead people management efforts for the sub-department (hiring, off-boarding, performance management, compensation), and cultivate a compelling career path with promotional and backfill opportunities are also key responsibilities.
