Position Overview

Chainalysis is seeking an Account Executive for their Americas Enterprise team. This role is ideal for experienced sellers who are expert storytellers and problem-solvers, assisting crypto-native, financial services, and enterprise companies in adopting blockchain technologies for their cryptocurrency strategies. The Account Executive will be responsible for new business creation, account management, and establishing trust within their target market, tailoring sales approaches and evangelizing Chainalysis solutions. Success will be measured by quota attainment, new logo acquisition, and account growth within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed quota and increase market share in North America Private Sector through prospecting, pipeline development, and existing account expansion.
  • Build trusting and transparent customer relationships, leading to network referrals and increased brand awareness.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for predictable and increasing quarterly forecasts.
  • Build a diverse pipeline of opportunities for consistent and accurate forecasting.
  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging based on market trends, competitive drivers, and regional sales channels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide expert advice on technical concepts, product roadmaps, implementations, training, and craft customer proposals.

Requirements

  • Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and its disruptive potential in financial services.
  • Articulate, enthusiastic, and effective communicator capable of conveying complex concepts concisely to CXO level.
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer-facing presentations and conference appearances.
  • Proven track record in new business development and market creation.
  • Ability to connect technology to customer business outcomes.
  • Desire to excel in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Solid track record of over-achieving quota in consultative, solution-based sales.
  • Experience with solution-selling methodologies and closing tactical and strategic opportunities.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus.
  • Ability to travel.

Nice to Have Experience

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about blockchain technology.
  • Experience selling solutions related to risk & compliance, data analytics, financial crimes, cyber security, or data security solutions.
