Requirements

Candidates should possess a proven track record of selling in government and defense, an extensive network within the industry, and the ability to navigate complex procurement processes and frameworks. Military experience and a technical understanding of geo-spatial imagery products or a related technical field are preferred, along with a strong understanding of government customers.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for growing Planet’s Government sales pipeline and book of business in Government Intelligence, Defense and National Security institutions for South Korea and Taiwan, identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing large and medium-size deals, driving sales revenue targets, developing an extensive pipeline of new sales leads, providing product and sales demonstrations, and formulating appropriate business strategies. They will also forecast accurately when managing the incoming pipeline of opportunities, source, sell, co-sell, and close deals, and enjoy Planet’s unique value proposition while contributing to the company’s mission.
