Candidates must have a BA/BS degree and 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology, with 5+ years focused on generating new business within Enterprise accounts. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships is required, along with a track record of hitting quota, driving consistent activity, and pipeline development. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to understand business drivers around IT and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Fluency in German is also required.
The Account Executive will achieve sales quotas by developing a sales strategy and regional sales plan for their allocated territory, including a target prospect list. They will develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth and act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap to promote Snowflake solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, developing new sales opportunities, arranging and conducting executive discussions, managing the sales process, closing agreements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing account management to drive additional revenue.
