Account Executive

Candidates should possess a demonstrable track record of selling high-value and transactional deals, 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle closing role within the SaaS industry, be highly organized, results-driven, and extremely self-motivated, and be accountable with an interest in continuous learning to master their craft. Extensive communication skills are required, including comfort speaking with manual testers and senior-level executives via phone and email.
The Account Executive will drive Billings and ARR within a defined territory, discover and qualify new opportunities and up-sell opportunities within the existing customer base, represent SmartBear to customers in all sales-related matters while understanding their business, product requirements, and industry challenges, direct complex sales cycles including account mapping, development of high-level relationships, account strategies, and business cases, effectively maintain sales pipeline data and activity reports, providing management with accurate sales forecasts, collaborate with Sales Engineers, marketing, Channel and product owners to share account knowledge and execute on sales strategies, work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure successful product roll-out, adoption, and ongoing use, and effectively communicate the value proposition of SmartBear solutions to prospects and customers.
