Requirements

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in strategy consulting at a management consulting firm, including new business development, corporate strategy, business planning, and strategy formulation support. Experience in corporate planning or business planning at a financial institution, with a focus on company-wide or departmental strategy formulation and business development, is preferred. Knowledge of the financial industry (payments, banking, securities, insurance) and strong business acumen are required. Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 800 or above) is desirable for research purposes.

Responsibilities

The role involves proposing and recommending organizational-wide strategies and strategic options to PayPay Group's senior management and business units. This includes independently developing proposals and response plans based on abstract themes from management, identifying issues arising from environmental changes, and proactively presenting them to leadership. Responsibilities may also include driving various projects and special assignments, supporting business planning and execution in business units through research and analysis, managing company-wide strategic discussions, and examining and promoting important agendas related to overall company and business strategy.
