Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS or MarTech sales, specifically managing mid-market accounts. They should be located in Canada or the USA and possess proven success in new customer acquisition and closing deals within the B2B SaaS or MarTech space. Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies like MEDDPICC is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a professional presence, and strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address customer needs.
The Account Executive will represent Customer.io to prospective customers and drive growth within key market segments by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demo and closing new business. This includes building and managing a pipeline through self-sourced and SDR-supported leads, conducting discovery calls to understand customer challenges, and positioning Customer.io's solutions. The role involves collaborating with the SDR team for lead quality feedback and Customer Success/Technical Support for post-sale hand-offs, as well as owning and reporting on individual sales metrics and engaging in high-volume prospecting and outreach for deals typically under $50,000 ACV.
