Position Overview

HopSkipDrive is seeking a seasoned B2B marketing/sales leader with significant experience in B2B and usage-based models, who has a proven track record in driving demand to generate revenue. As the Vice President of Revenue Marketing, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for the strategy and execution of our marketing channels, focused on building a strong pipeline and driving increased usage among our clients. You will lead our demand generation channels, managing a team of marketers, sales development representatives, business development, and the RFP function, bringing in new clients, fueling pipeline revenue, and driving usage amongst clients.

About the Marketing and Communications Team

Our Marketing and Communications team grows brand awareness of HopSkipDrive among key audiences in the communities in which we operate. This team owns the strategy and execution of work to grow our client base among schools and school districts, and strengthen our reputation among families, riders, policymakers, and other stakeholders leveraging earned, owned, and paid media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive our demand generation strategy using email marketing, field marketing, events/trade shows, and paid media, as well as outbound sales and RFP to maximize visibility, lead generation, and overall efficiency.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leadership including the Revenue team, Communications team, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment, consistent messaging, and optimized support for external-facing activities and conversion efforts.
  • Work with revenue operations and marketing operations to ensure the utmost data hygiene, track and report on marketing effectiveness, glean insights from experiments, and continuously improve campaigns.
  • Publish frequent updates, insights, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading demand generation efforts with 8+ years leading high-performing teams.
  • A strong track record of driving and scaling pipeline generation in B2B environments, preferably for SaaS, usage-based, or similar models.
  • Significant experience developing B2B paid media strategies, optimizing spend, and driving top-of-funnel volume.
  • Successful experience developing and executing account-based marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive communications that drive engagement and action rooted in company messaging.
  • A metrics-driven mindset with a passion for data, testing, and optimization.
  • Love for collaborative environments and ability to chart paths forward.
