Requirements

Candidates must reside in the US or Canada, possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree favored), and have over 5 years of consultative selling experience in market research, media, or media agencies. Proficiency in consultative/challenger selling skills is also required.

Responsibilities

This role will lead sales engagements for NielsenIQ's Marketing Effectiveness solutions, focusing on acquiring new business through a go-to-market strategy, building client relationships, and closing deals. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams, managing the sales cycle, generating new product ideas, and representing the voice of the customer to internal product teams. The VP will partner with advertisers, agencies, and media owners to sell solutions that refine marketing investments, optimize spend, measure sales lift, and monitor media impact on market share. Key duties involve achieving annual revenue targets, using insights to demonstrate client commercial impact, attending conferences, prospecting clients, managing sales pipelines and CRM hygiene, developing account plans, and disseminating competitive intelligence.
