Requirements

Candidates must possess deep health plan design and benefits knowledge, with at least 7 years of experience in a commercially-oriented account management or sales role within the employee benefits space. A strong commercial focus, proven results in achieving retention and upsell targets, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment are essential. Responsibilities

The Strategic Accounts VP will be responsible for retaining and upselling Garner's largest employer clients, collaborating with account managers to ensure excellent client experiences and outcomes. This role involves becoming a trusted strategic partner to clients on plan design, cost trends, and performance, resolving strategic problems, and managing key broker and client relationships. The VP will monitor client needs and health, execute strategic plans to mitigate risks, and collaborate with internal teams to demonstrate Garner's value and ROI, ultimately driving improved net revenue retention and other key performance indicators.
