Candidates must have experience as a second-line sales leader, specifically with Communications, Media & Entertainment customers. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships is essential. Strong leadership skills, a new business sales focus, and the ability to manage and motivate a team are required. A proactive, independent mindset with high energy, a positive attitude, and the capacity for strategic thinking are also necessary. Employees must adhere to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Regional Vice President will provide guidance on selling Snowflake's product, navigate complex legal negotiations, and help eliminate technical barriers. They will hire, enable, coach, develop, and motivate a field sales team, and scale territories through strategic planning and account assignment. Responsibilities include ensuring the success of events by collaborating with marketing, accelerating time to capacity agreement through effective POCs and partner alignment, and ensuring customer success and effective consumption of Snowflake. This includes strategic account planning, engaging customer advisory services, monitoring consumption, and engaging product management and C-level executives. The RVP will also manage weekly forecast meetings with sales leadership and network with partners.
