Requirements

Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry or a related field. A significant understanding and experience working at or selling through Optum/UHC for ASO business and other lines of business is required. Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, consultative selling experience, and the ability to manage pipeline strategically using Salesforce are essential. Responsibilities

The VP, Growth - Optum/UHC will be responsible for driving net new business growth with UHG by building relationships across all levels, from account executives to C-suite. This role involves managing and executing the sales strategy for the Optum/UHC partnership, championing Virta's offerings, and progressing pipeline opportunities. Key duties include tracking partner KPIs, fostering relationships within UHG, enabling direct sales teams, establishing regular communication with UHG leaders, and serving as a subject matter expert on the Optum/UHC partnership. The role also requires close collaboration with internal Virta teams to identify growth opportunities and provide feedback.
